Wed 7/28/21

Good Thursday morning, Only Two Angels rode Wed. It was a nice day. Jim B met me at the station for a ride. He had never been to the Crosswinds in Payson. So off we went not much traffic going or coming back. We saw a small herd of horses coming back.
Jim and I had our breakfast along with a lot of pilots. There were at less 8 planes on the tare-max. about 3 flew out while we were eating. about 4 more landed and parked. The owner of the restaurant remembered my name and ask why we haven't been there this summer. I told her I didn't have many riders, but, lots of rain and heat. We got back to GV about 11:15 before it got in the three digits. We rode 171 miles with a fuel stop in Payson.
Jim and Sandi are flying to Colorado for two weeks I will take them to the airport at 3:30 Friday AM. So Sat. ride will be Jay and me if it doesn't rain. I think we have had over 5 inches of rain in July, with two small monsoons.  At least the hills are nice and green for now.
Until next time be safe where ever you are.

Sat 7/24/21

Good day from sunny/raining AZ
We woke up to more rain than our streets could handle. But that didn't stop 5 Angles from having fun. We traded our two and three wheels for our four wheels and a roof. We met Jay and Dottie at the station. Bobbie and I picked up Jim B and off we went windshield wipers going a mile a minute. We tried a new cafe, called Miners on main in Superior. We all had breakfast. We asked the owners if they can handle a large group. yup the said. They have a large patio and a large dining area. From there we have three different ways we can go home. Today with all the rain we upped to go straight home. We got home about 9:00. The rain is still coming down. and visibility was about 200 or 300 yards.
My rain gauge had 3 & 1/4 of water in it after 3 days. I checked all of your houses who live here in GV On the outside and didn't see any damage. When it ever quit raining I"ll check inside of the one I can. Hope we can ride our bikes Wed.

PS Think about voting on Jim Barrington for Road Captain, once he gets his CB.

Wed 7/21/21

A nice day found 3 Angles, ready to ride. We met at the station between 6:30 and 7:00 AM. after we fuel up we were ready to head out. With Paul B leading and Jay on the tail. Jim B was in the middle. We headed East on the 60. Not much traffic so we made good time to the 77 south.  We stopped at Maria's in Haydon. The copper mine was busy, which was a good thing after The worker got back to work. We had a good meal, but the coffee was strong. They were having trouble with their coffee machine. It was still early so we headed south on 177 to the 79. We stopped at the speedo for a cold drink of water and I put some gas in by Bike. Then went on north on 79 to 60 West and home, still not much traffic. We traveled 178.8 miles and got home at 11:20 AM'
Saturday 7/24/21 Jim is going to lead us to a restaurant on main st in Superior. will let you know how it was. Until Sat be safe.
PS I heard from some Canadians, that the border should be open on Aug. 8th or 9th. Let hope so.

Sat 7/3/21

Good morning Angels, well Jay was back for a ride, Dottie is doing much better after her Hip surgery. Jim Barrington, still not riding yet, had hand surgery last week. Hope to see both next Saturday 7/17/21. There won't be a ride Wed for Jay and I both have Doc. appointments. We had a good rain Sat 7/3/21. I had one place I take care of, had one of the free-standing storage cabinets, fall apart. I have not found any other of you people's places that I take care of having any damage yet I'll be checking more today. I will tell you if there is, if you don't hear from me then everything is OK.
The ride that Jay and I did Sat. was to The New Head Quarters Cafe, in Maricopa. The food was good, but too much, Jay and I both brought half our meal home. I thought it was expensive. It is still worth going back to.
We saw on our way two Dairies were closed ( no cattle. ) We rode 128.7 miles, with an elapsed time of three hours and 15 min.
