Wed 9/28/22

We only had 3 bikes for Wednesday's ride. Sherry Knorr road with Dan. Dennis #2 and I were the other riders. I was leading our small group. I was heading for Coolidge I made a horseshoe turn back to 79. So I decided to go to Casket road the back way Wrong move it was blocked off for road damage. So another u-turn, Dan turned around first, so he lead us back to the 287 over the bridge and left at the light on to tag's restaurant. after our meal, we headed back the way we came. I lead us back to Edenvlille turn off and to Florence and home, we traveled 128.8 miles and 10:20, I hope Jay and Jim gets their bike repaired for Saturday's ride.

Saturday 9/24/22 we start to ride at 8:00 am be at the station by 7:45 am for road captains' news about that day's ride and safety dips. See you soon

Saturday 9/17/22

Good morning everyone, We had 5 bikes and one lady rider, as we met at the Chevron station. We all decided on Payson at the Cross-winds airport restaurant. I called ahead but whoever answered the phone didn't write our name down right. So we had to wait a while.

Dennis McKinny lead with Dan Knorr as our tail. We had some traffic on the Bush which slowed us up some. didn't see any horses today. After breakfast, we headed to the 188. but first, we stopped in Payson for fuel. On the 188 we stopped at the marina for a pit stop. Then on the 60 for home, Dan and I stopped at the Gold Cayon shell ( know Circle K ) for fuel.

        We got home around 12:30 with 220 miles. Dan and Mr. Max will ride Wed.  The rest of us have Dr. appointments.

Hey Paul thought I would give you a heads up, Max and I rode to Ma's Kitchen for breakfast today.  We met at the station and left around 7 am. Traffic was light, and we arrived with no problems at a little after 8 am.  After a great breakfast, we headed back to the valley.  We rode a total of 181 miles 3 hours and 38 minutes riding time, The temp when we got back was only 92 degrees.  I hope to see you and Jay this Saturday.

Saturday 9/3/22

Well, here it is Sept. I guess some of you will be heading back to your little houses.

No one is riding today. Mr. Max's bike is in the shop with a cooling problem. Jay has a tire problem, and I won't ride alone.

We are having our share of rain. It started last week and now we get Mimi monsoons, about every day, at different times.   Like Thur. night at 10 pm the rain and Wind came from the North My driveway rubber mates ended up about 200 ft, down the street. It only lasted about 3/4 of an hour. Then Friday about 6 pm it hit again but lasted about 20 minutes. I have an air port run at 6 pm Sat. I hope no rain and wind at this time.

Hoping we will all be able to ride by Wed 9/7/22.
