Haven't ridden for a week or so. So it was great meeting up with Paul/Bobbi and Jay/Dottie and having breakfast in Florence. Because I hadn't ridden for some time I extended my ride to Cactus Road and onto Coolidge, then out to Eloy airport. Not much happening there, stayed for 30-40 minutes only saw 6 or so jumpers. Traveled out to 87 and over to Gilbert Rd. By this time temps were up so I jumped on the 202 and headed back to A/J. Got back around 12:20ish having traveled 132 miles. Trike temp said 100, house temp said 95. All in all it was good getting back out. Hope to ride on Sat. and Wed. before heading back to Wi. & Mn.

Wed ride will have only two riders, Dennis # 2 and I won't ride that day which will be Mr. Max's last ride until next spring, which leaves Jay and Dennis #2 and me for the summer. Everyone enjoy the summer and ride safe. If anyone takes a ride that the rest of us would like to hear about, send me an email about it and I will forward it.

I would like to thank Mr. Max for a great write-up. Jay and I had to cut our ride short. Besides Bobbie and Dottie hadn't ridden much this year. I ordered a new back tire. and it came in today and will have it put on tomorrow. Jay and I rode only 69.4 miles and got home 11: am.
Ok Max I'll see you Saturday.

Saturday 5/14/22

We had 4 riders for our Saturday We all decided on Apache Gold Casino in  Globe. After a good meal, we went back to route 77 to Winkelman, where we put on some fuel and our cool vests. Then on up to Superior and home, It was close to the 100 mark when I pulled into my drive. It was right at 12 noon and 159 miles. I'll be gone to Bobbie's son's place on Bass lake in Calif. I'll be home on Saturday 5/21/22 but too late to ride.  My next ride will be on 6/4/22 if I get back from a 6:45 AM airport run. Dennis Mc will be gone for about three months. Not sure about Mr. Max. That leaves Jay. Dennis #2, and me for the summer. I don't know what the story is on Jim Barrington. I'll be in touch With Jay, and Dannis #2. Hope your summer isn't mixed up as bad as mine.

Wed 5/11/22

It was a breezy Wed Morning. There were three riders today. We picked Judy's in globe for our chow destination. We talked a bit to decide which way to go home. We all agreed to go around Roosevelt Lake, with a side trip up 88 to where the pavement ends and turned around. Everything was so green and of course beautiful. A lot of canyons on the west side. I took some pics. but they weren't any good, because as most of you know I'm not a very good picture taker. We then got on 188 West and made a stop at Tonto Basin for some fuel and shed our other shirts. We didn't see any horses this trip. We split up at the brown street light and got home on our own. We traveled 218+ miles getting me home at 1:20 pm.
We will ride Saturday 5/14/22, but NO ride Wed 5/18/22. I'm hoping there will be at least 3 riders on Sat.5/21/22. Everyone have a good summer, and God willing we will see everyone this fall.

Saturday 5/7/2022

We were back to four riders this hot day. With Dennis Mc. leading and Jay Stewart on the tail. That left Mr. Max and me in the middle. We were all surprised When Dennis turned right onto the 60 east. That made our trip a little crazy going in backward to our destination. We still made it ok to The New Headquarters Grill. Once again our meals came with 6 big pieces of Bacon. After our meal, We went outside to 90 + heat. some got down to short sleeves. I put on my wet vest and short sleeve shirt. (which was very cooling }. We headed back threw farm country. Got on the 202 north to the 60 east and home. We traveled 130.6 miles and arrived home at about 11:30. We will ride next Wed the 11th and next Saturday the 14th. Max and I will be back to ride on the 21st. with Dennis  Jay. I think Dennis and Jay will be here on Wed the 18th I hope I got it straightened out. Anyway, have a good ride on Wed the 18th,
See everyone but Max Saturday the 14th.
