10/30/21 Saturday's ride.

Let's welcome back Cliff and Cathie Boersma they are Don Gabbert's daughter and son-in-law. Also Don and his wife ( sorry I forgot your last name ). We had 8. bikes and 2 lady angles. We picked the Petro truck stop off I-10 near Pe O peak O I think. We hadn't been there in 2 years. After our great meals, we split up. Jay lead the little group back by ironwood. The other 5 with Dennis still leading with me on the tail. We headed for Park link rd onto the 79. It was getting hot again, so we turned left toward Florence. We stopped to take a break and there I topped off my tank. It was 25 cents cheaper than AJ. We traveled 182.6 miles. and arrived home a little after 1:00 PM.
I won't be here for the Wed 11/3/21 ride.

Wed 10/27/21

A  little cool today. There were 4 Angels for a ride to Winkelmen for breakfast. everyone ate all they ordered, We had a short stop for road construction, on 77. After our breakfast, we headed north to Globe. With a stop at the shell for a brake. and I topped off my tank. We then turned North West to the 87, with a stop at Jake's corner. On the way home on the Bush Hy-way, we saw a small herd of horses. Got home at 1:00 with 227 miles on my speedo.
Saturday ride will be decided at the station. Remember the sign on 60 read " 60 closed Saturday 10/30/21". which way it didn't say. See you Saturday.

Saturday 10/23/21

Will, we had 5 riders meet at the station. We left a little after 8:00. Max and Dennis did a little repair on Maxs plug for his helmet plug-in. Dennis lead our group up Goldfield Road North. We made some turns until we got to Bush highway. There was a small herd of horses, near the 87. We headed for the air port in Paysen to the Crosswinds Cafe. We all had a good breakfast, but I learned not to order the one Biskets and Gravey. it filled one diner plate. More than I could eat. On the way home, Max and Dennis went by way 188. Made a stop at the marina and on to Globe. They traveled 200 miles, got home at 1;00,
Jay lead the other small group back home. We got home at 1:30 with 136.3 miles.
Not sure where our ride Wed will take us ,
Safety tip We ride staggered and remember the 3-second rule.

Saturday 10/9/21

Hi gang, well things are looking good here at G.V. We had 5 riders today. Dennis, MAX, jay, Dan, and me. Dan and Sherry Knorr are back, and the good news is Sherry is doing really well. Carroll Johnson and Le Ann are here but have not ridden yet.
Now the ride was wonderful. Dan K. lead with Jay on the tail. The weather was a little cool. which made for a nice ride. We headed home by way of the 188 and on to Globe. The lake was lower than it as been but fuller than when you snowbirds went back North and East. You have missed lots of good riding weather. We made four stops on the way home one potty break, and 3 fuel stop for different bikes.  We traveled 238 miles and were home before 1 pm.
The park is doing some of the streets with sealcoating.
If any of you want to call me, we have taken our park phone out the only phone we use is my cell phone # 480-492-3724. and Bobbie # 480-479-0804.

We hit the 60 east to the 79 south ( boy was there a lot of traffic on 79 North ]. We couldn't or didn't have space to get around anybody. But Dennis lead us safely and around a way I didn't expect. So we made it to Tags in good time. We had a good breakfast and decided which way I should get back to the 202 and on to the airport. I didn't have to wait to long for my riders'
Dennis and Max went south and were not sure where from there.
Sat 10/9/21 We will go to Pine, and the early bird cafe. The weather is going to be a little cooler In the 50's so pack a harmer jacket. On the way home, we will need a lighter jacket. Not sure if the 188 will be cleared by then, Max said Wed that there was a mud side near the lake' The Weather is cooling down, and staying darker. So on the 3rd of Nov. on a Wed we will start riding at 8 am.

We made a short stop at the Bush Hy-way and 87. Didn't see any horses because the trees and bushes were so green and thick. We still ride at 7:00 AM Sat, and Wednesdays. We rode 197.1 miles and got home at 11:00,

I have four airport runs Sat. the 2nd and Wed. the 6th' two a day.

Jay is back and will keep me informed on the next two rides.

See some of you soon.
