Saturday 8/29/21

Only 3 Angels were at the station for today's ride. With Dennis Mc. leading we rode the back streets to We Ko Po golf course restaurant.  The food was great and we had a very nice waitress. We ask her if the 87 cafe at Ft McDowell was open she wasn't sure. She said she use to work there. Then after breakfast, we went back by way Cave Creek and Scottsdale. by way of 101 to 202 to the 60 and home It was hotter than h---. We rode 147.8 miles. Got home about 11:30. This was Dennis's last ride until Oct. Jay will be going up to Wahington state. to take care of some business. will be back in Oct. That will leave Jim B and myself.

Wed.8/25/21

Well our 2nd ride after the rains, Dennis McKinny is back for a couple of rides before he heads back East. He leads the 3 other Angles to Winkimen Maria,s for breakfast. We hear some good rides he done back East. After we finished our breakfast off we went to Globe and a stop at the shell for fuel and gas. The price was too high for me so I and Jay stopped at the circle (k) in Superior. Jim stopped in Superior to go home with his wife. Dennis went back by way of Roosevelt lake. We traveled 149.2 miles in 4 hours (I think). Not sure about the Saturday ride.

Sat. 11/21/21

Well, the rain is over for now so 3 Angles met at the station today.  We picked the Crosswinds A/P restaurant for our destination. It was busy but we got seated right away. I lead our little group of three. with Jay on the tail. and Jim B. in the middle. We traveled our usual route. The Traffic was light but not heavy. We saw two small herds of horses, but none coming back. A lot of people at the river and the buses were busy as ever.

We all had a good breakfast as always there, Lot of planes in and out. which meant a line coming for breakfast or lunch. There was a parade lining up when we were done eating and that meant we had to go back the way we came. Jay was leading us home and I was on the tail. (yup) you guess right Jim B is in the middle. On the way, we stopped at the 87 & bushHyway. for a stretch and a drink. Jay and Jim talked to a young couple. Who had bought a used H/D 1998? It had low mileage look real good, He said he had an 883 sporter at home. 

We then headed home. with 176,2 miles on my speedo, got home at 11:30. Wed.8/25/21 We plan on  Winkelman or Hayden. There is a one way stoplight at the bridge west of Miami'

Saturday 8/7/21

Sorry about the blank newsletter, I just bought a window 11 computer and was playing with it .

I didn't mean to send it.

Jay and I met a the station and after a short discussion, We headed out for pine. You won't believe this but all the fields were real Green ( I mean dark Green. ) It is the prettiest I've seen it. since 2004. Near pine, we could smell the pine trees. We got to the Early bird cafe a little after 8:00 AM. They were very busy. We had a special. witch was a 2 egg omelet. I lead all the way there and Jay lead coming home. We had to stop at the speedway, by home depot for fuel. We talked things over and decided to go straight home. Not sure if the bridge area is open for westbound traffic. on the 60 west of Miami, We will give them another week. We rode 194,4 miles and got home at 11:00. Wed 8/11/21 ride will be decided then. Jim B will be back then.

Saturday 7/3121

Hello. Angels. Just Jay and I met at the station. It was about 7:00 we decided to head south to Coolidge and Tags Cafe. We talked before our food arrived. Jay said he can't ride Wed.  So I won't ride by myself so no ride Wed. Jay led all the way. coming back we went to the 202 north. so Jay and I could stop at the Home Depot. We both bought something we needed. All together we rode 100 miles and were home after a fuel stop by 9:15. Jim B. will be back Mon. Aug.9th.

That means Jay and I will ride Sat 8/7/21. if the rain holds off till later in the day.
