It was a nice warm morning when 12 bikes with 15 riders left the Chevron at 9 o'clock. The goal was a ride to Ma's kitchen, one of our favorite places. Dennis was the leader, and Paul on the tail. The first job was to get past the Renaissance Festival, which went pretty well today.

It was a smooth ride, and the roads at Roosevelt lake had only our group walking to the restaurant. Two riders missed their breakfast because the rest of us were getting ready to leave and they had not been served yet. There were a few separated riders for other purposes.  On the way home, we stopped at Tonto basin for gas and a rest, then to take the 87 S. to the Bush Highway.  Lots of motorcycles at Jake'Corner, but no horses today.

The group traveled 179 miles and got home about 2 PM. Weather permitting, Wednesday's ride will be to Payson, And Saturday's ride will be the rim ride starting at 8 AM. Please note the change of time starting on Saturday.
